Instructions for EDI Claims Submissions

Overview
This page provides instructions for submission of claims via EDI to TPA of Georgia. All entities wishing to conduct EDI with
TPA of Georgia must sign an EDI Trading Partner Agreement, or submit their claims through a clearinghouse
or similar entity that already has an EDI Trading Partner Agreement in place with TPA of Georgia.

If you are attempting to send files via EDI to TPA of Georgia for the first time and do not have an EDI Trading Partner
Agreement in place, you will also need to go through an EDI System Test to ensure that both parties are able to exchange files
successfully and that all files are in compliance with agreed-upon specifications. Please contact TPA of Georgia via the

Acceptable Methods of EDI File Transfers / Exchanges
TPA of Georgia currently accepts EDI documents through secure FTP. If you would like to use another method for file
exchange, please contact TPA of Georgia through the EDI Contact Information provided below to discuss alternate file
exchange protocols.

Secure FTP
TPA of Georgia utilizes a secure FTP server that supports 128-bit SSL encryption. In order to send files through the secure
FTP server, you must use an SSL-enabled FTP client program. Some SSL-enabled FTP client programs available commercially are:
